Sh. R.N. Sharma and S.N. Sharma established Vishwakarma Metal Works in 1986 with a small lead extraction furnace in Delhi. The objectives of the firm were to reclaim lead from scrap batteries, refine it to the maximum purity and to manufacture Lead Oxide. The object was achieved very well and the firm earns the faith of user in a very short span of time.

To achieve the highest standards together with continuously increasing in production capacity and quality improvement selenium alloy was introduced for grids making. Selenium alloy minimizes the water consumption as the resistance is very low and at the same time the strength increases of Grid. This enhances the service life of Batteries.

With due care for our environment we have installed pollution control devices for all manufacturing units. Every precaution have been taken to ensure good health of our workers and a clean and safer atmosphere in working area.

The firm grows rapidly and as continuous development BATTERY PLATES was introduced by the brand name of SHARMA and S.P. for automotive and emergency lighting systems. For accurate and the best quality the Battery plates is charged with digital plate charger which have a unique feature to charge Battery plates at a constant current. This ensures the full capacity of battery plates. A fully equipped testing lab was also established for regular batch testing of Lead and Lead Oxide. As the demand grows the need for automation emerges. To cop-up with demand, an automatic grid casting machine was introduced in channel of manufacturing with the production capacity of 30000 plates per day

We are manufacturing heat sealed batteries with selenium alloy for Automotive, Standby and Motor Cycle use, Lead oxide under brand name of VPL and 555, Tubular battery plates for Inverter and other standby application under brand name of NIHON, automotive Battery plates under brand name of SHARMA and S.P.
